Dr. Hassaan Nizami
CEO
is a seasoned financial strategist and global investment expert with over 25 years of distinguished experience in banking, trade finance, and treasury operations. His career began in the banking sector, where he held senior leadership roles across the UAE and Pakistan, including as Country Head of Finance, Treasury, Financial Institutions, and Systems at a leading regional bank. Throughout his banking tenure, he successfully led strategic initiatives in trade finance, cross-border remittances, systems transformation, and treasury management, establishing a reputation for delivering impactful financial solutions in dynamic environments.
Currently, Dr. Nizami serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Africa Trade Finance Company (ATFCC), where he provides visionary leadership in structuring innovative trade finance solutions across Africa and global markets. His expertise in SBLCs, LCs, compliance frameworks, and fintech applications has enabled ATFCC to become a trusted partner in cross-border finance and development-focused investments.
In addition to his role at ATFCC, Dr. Nizami is the Chairman and Group CEO of Al Duha Group, a diversified conglomerate with business verticals in consultancy, project management, media, real estate, trade, and investment. Under his leadership, Al Duha Group has expanded its global footprint, with a focus on enabling strategic partnerships and sustainable economic growth.
Dr. Nizami holds an Honorary Doctorate in Management Sciences, and his thought leadership in financial innovation, trade facilitation, and economic development continues to shape the financial landscape across Africa, the Middle East, and beyond.
Bernard W. Mwonyonyo
Non-Executive Director
is a certified banker with over 20 years of experience across corporate, SME, and retail banking. He has held senior roles in multiple financial institutions, driving branch profitability, operational excellence, and customer service transformation. Currently pursuing an MBA in Strategic Management, Bernard combines strong academic grounding with boardroom experience, including his role as Chairman at Fortune Credit Limited. His leadership is defined by strategic thinking, governance acumen, and a results-driven approach. Bernard is passionate about financial inclusion, project management, and societal impact, and remains a committed member of Kenya’s professional and civic communities.
Constance Bordoh
Country Director
is an experienced IT and HR professional with a background in strategic management and business development. Currently serving as Country Director at Africa Trade Finance Consulting, she has held key roles in banking and corporate services. Constance combines strong analytical and organizational skills with a commitment to innovation and teamwork. She holds degrees in Business Administration and Strategic Management and is fluent in English, Twi, and Fanti.
Eunice A. Adade
Sales Manager
is a seasoned sales and banking professional with over a decade of experience spanning retail banking, credit, customer service, and sales leadership. Currently a Sales Consultant and Manager at Euro Exim Bank, she specializes in trade finance, client onboarding, and team development. With an MBA in Finance and a BSc in Banking and Finance, Eunice is known for her strong compliance acumen, training leadership, and consistent performance in high-pressure roles.
Georgina Owusu-Ansah
Production Manager
Georgina Owusu-Ansah is a dynamic and results-oriented professional with extensive expertise in trade finance, client relations, and business development. As a Production Manager, she combines strong commercial acumen with proven success in structuring financial instruments such as Letters of Credit (LC), Standby Letters of Credit (SBLC), and Bank Guarantees (BG). Skilled in engaging international banks, SMEs, and corporate clients, she has built strategic partnerships that drive sustainable business growth. He has a proven track record in credit and investment analysis, budget forecasting, and risk management. Hauwa Yakubu
Country Manager-Kano
is the Country Manager for Northern Nigeria at Trade Finance Company, with a distinguished career in international trade finance and banking. She brings over a decade of experience across retail, corporate, and unit banking, with specialist knowledge in trade instruments such as LC, SBLC, BG, POF, RWA, and offshore banking. Hauwa has held key positions at Euro Exim Bank, Kapital Insurance, and Assurance Bank, and is known for her strategic leadership, client relationship acumen, and commitment to excellence. She holds a BSc in Banking and International Finance, along with professional certifications in cybersecurity and digital marketing.
Aly Ndiaye
Country Manager Senegal
is the Country Manager for Senegal, bringing over 20 years of banking expertise across corporate, investment, and SME sectors. He has held senior roles at leading financial institutions including Citi, BNP Paribas, Attijariwafa Bank, and Société Générale. Aly is a seasoned relationship manager with deep knowledge in credit analysis, portfolio management, and structured finance. He holds a Master’s in Public Infrastructure Management and advanced degrees in Economics and Statistics. Fluent in French and proficient in English, Aly combines strategic insight with operational excellence to drive sustainable growth. He is passionate about client development and financial inclusion in West Africa.

Charles Kiyuga
Country Manager Tanzania
Charles B. Kiyuga brings over 15 years of specialized expertise in trade finance, treasury products, and international banking operations. Throughout his distinguished career at Equity Bank Tanzania, First National Bank Tanzania, Standard Chartered Bank, and Stanbic Bank, he has demonstrated exceptional capabilities in structuring complex trade solutions including letters of credit, guarantees, documentary collections, and working capital facilities.
Charles has a proven track record of establishing international banking units from the ground up, implementing efficient trade processing systems, and driving revenue growth exceeding 40%. His expertise spans trade finance structuring, risk evaluation, foreign exchange operations, and client advisory services. He holds an Advanced Diploma in Banking from the Institute of Finance Management and is pursuing his MBA from ESAMI.
Lucas Banzi
Senior Relationship Manager - Tanzania
Lucas Banzi is a seasoned operations and supply chain professional with over 15 years of specialized experience in commodity trade operations, logistics management, and international trade compliance. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical and Process Engineering from the University of Dar es Salaam.
Lucas has managed complex supply chain operations across Tanzania and the broader East African region, with expertise in import/export documentation, customs compliance, inventory management, and trade finance requirements. His experience spans coordinating international shipments, managing working capital through effective stock control, and ensuring regulatory compliance with multiple authorities including customs, EWURA, and TBS. He has successfully overseen multi-depot operations and managed trade relationships across Kenya, Uganda, Zambia, and DRC, bringing practical insight into the financial and logistical needs of trading
Theresia Magabe
Relationship Manager - Tanzania
Theresia Mtatiro Magabe is an experienced banking professional specializing in trade finance, client relationship management, and credit portfolio administration. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Procurement and Logistics Management from Mzumbe University, providing her with deep understanding of supply chain operations and trade cycles.
Throughout her banking career, Theresia has demonstrated excellence in credit assessment, loan structuring, and portfolio management, successfully managing portfolios exceeding 240 million Tanzanian Shillings. Her unique combination of procurement expertise and banking experience enables her to understand the financial needs of trading businesses and manufacturers. She has extensive experience in agricultural trade financing and has successfully facilitated credit access for businesses in underserved markets.
Zoli Macanda Simbodyal
Group County Manager - South Africa
Zoli Macanda Simbodyal is an accomplished Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chartered Accountant (CA, SA; ACA, England & Wales) with more than two decades of international experience in corporate finance, strategic financial planning, and financial transformation. Her career spans senior leadership roles at leading global institutions including John Deere, UBank, GrafTech International (NYSE/NASDAQ), Barclays, MTN, Rothschild, and PwC.
At John Deere EMA, Zoli oversees finance and business administration across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, managing complex operations with revenues exceeding US$2 billion in Africa. She has successfully led cross-border teams, delivered SOX compliance, and implemented treasury and risk management frameworks that safeguard growth and shareholder value.
Previously, as Finance Director and COO of UBank Limited, she spearheaded a financial turnaround, recapitalized the bank under Basel II and III standards, and diversified revenue streams across Southern Africa. Her leadership at GrafTech International drove a global M&A restructuring and standardized reporting frameworks, while at MTN Africa she supported pan-African expansion and served as a board-level finance director in multiple countries.
Zoli’s expertise includes M&A transactions, capital structuring, treasury risk management, and IFRS/US GAAP compliance. She is widely recognized for aligning financial strategy with business growth, strengthening governance, and developing high-performing teams across diverse markets.
She holds an MSc in Finance (University of Wales), is a member of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of South Africa, and is committed to advancing finance as a strategic driver of enterprise value and sustainable growth.
Josephine Akwei
Relationship Manager for Africa

Angeline Kanguru is an accomplished Accountant and Trade Finance Consultant with 24 years of experience in financial management and international trade. Currently serving as a Trade Finance Consultant at Trade Finance Company (TFC) and Euro Exim Bank, she specializes in advisory services, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance. Her extensive background includes 13 years as Financial Controller at Samrec Vermiculite Zimbabwe, where she led financial reporting, budgeting, and developed key internal control procedures.
Angeline holds a Graduateship in Accountancy from the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators in Zimbabwe. Known for her exceptional leadership and communication skills, she excels in international trade compliance, financial analysis, and stakeholder management. Her expertise spans GL reconciliations, audit coordination, and board-level reporting, consistently delivering operational efficiencies and making her a valuable asset in both accounting and trade finance sectors.
